Atlas Copco Group, Antwerp, seeks an Electrical Design Engineer for Energy Conversion solutions within the Oil-Free Air division. You will shepherd projects from idea to production, shaping electrical schematics, BOMs and control strategies, and coordinating with internal and international teams.

Join a multidisciplinary environment and contribute to cabinet design, production readiness and field installations.

Qualifications

Engineering degree or equivalent by experience.
Strong passion for electrical design and general technical knowledge.
Fluent English within organization; Dutch is a plus.

Responsabilités

Select main electrical components (motor and drive).
Coordinate design & release of electrical schematic, BOM and wiring.
Define, program and implement control strategies and translate to soft- and hardware.
Define functional specs of electrical components: motors, drives, sensors, etc.
Follow up qualification of electrical components.
Discuss electrical cabinet design with supplier.
Follow up realization of electrical cabinet and wiring.
Monitor production and field installations; troubleshoot issues.
Apply IEC, UL, CSA, IEEE standards and regulations.
Disseminate acquired knowledge across teams.
