Job summary

ALTEN Belgium is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our teams in the Brussels area. You will act as the main technical contact between the client and external suppliers, coordinating multi-stakeholder activities and validating system designs.

We value a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in electrical design software, regulatory frameworks, and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and project management tools.
• English language is required.

Responsibilities

Electrical Design Engineer – English required - ALTEN Belgium

The Position

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located in Brussels area.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Act as the main technical contact between the client and external suppliers.
• Monitor project planning and ensure supplier deliverables are completed according to agreed milestones.
• Review and approve electrical and system design proposals from suppliers.
• Coordinate activities between multiple client stakeholders and departments.
• Ensure products comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Define and execute validation activities for systems.
• Analyze test results and support issue investigation.
• Facilitate communication between engineering teams, software teams, and business stakeholders.

Your Profile

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in the following tools: Electrical design software, project management tools, regulatory compliance frameworks
• Language(s): English
