Job summary

ALTEN Belgium is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our teams in the Brussels area. You will act as the main technical contact between the client and external suppliers, coordinating multi-stakeholder activities and validating system designs.

We value a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in electrical design software, regulatory frameworks, and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and project management tools.
• English language is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main technical contact between client and external suppliers.
• Monitor project planning and ensure supplier deliverables meet milestones.
• Review and approve electrical and system design proposals from suppliers.
• Coordinate activities between client stakeholders and departments.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Define and execute validation activities for systems.
• Analyze test results and support issue investigations.
• Facilitate communication between engineering, software, and business teams.
