Toyota Motor Europe seeks a talented engineer to lead development of electrical accessories for European Toyota and Lexus vehicles. You will design, test, and coordinate suppliers to meet performance, quality and cost targets across multi-stakeholder teams.

You bring a Master’s in Electrical/Electronic/Automotive Engineering with 1–4 years of relevant experience, strong PM skills, and CAD experience (CATIA preferred). Hybrid working in Europe is offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic or Automotive Engineering.
• 1–4 years of experience in development of electrical vehicle components or accessories.
• Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Proficient with MS Office; CAD software; CATIA is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design and development of electrical accessories meeting performance, quality and cost targets.
• Coordinate suppliers to ensure on-time development, testing, production and launch of accessories.
• Technical Project Management: define and maintain the development schedule with the supplier and stakeholders to achieve on-time availability at vehicle launch.
• Translate Planning department product requirements into concepts and detailed product specifications.
• Initiate, correct and sign-off products and assembly drawings including production tolerances.
• Carry-out prototype fitting checks and perform Fire Hazard / RQA studies, define wire harness lay-out.
• Initiate and coordinate component testing at supplier/test labs and validate test reports.
• Arrange design reviews and carry out FMEA / DRBFM to assure parts meet Toyota quality standards.
• Lead technical communication with Toyota Japan, clear and transparent reporting to Senior Management.
• Cooperate closely with Purchasing to manage all product- and project cost targets.
• Secure regulation compliance and collaboration with Homologation department.
