Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Manager / Associate Director, EHDS Data Cataloguing to lead the inventory and metadata for in-scope health data across Europe. The role coordinates data owners and governance teams to ensure completeness, consistency, and discoverability of cataloged data.

The position requires deep knowledge of data cataloging, metadata management, and EHDS standards, plus strong cross-functional leadership and global collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of pharma/data experience in data governance or data management.
• Expertise in data cataloging, metadata management, and standards.
• Knowledge of CDISC SDTM/ADaM; familiarity with HealthDCAT-AP or DCAT-AP.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and global collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads EHDS Data Inventory and Cataloging workstream; coordinates data owners and representatives.
• Maintains complete inventory of in-scope data: ownership, EHDS category, asset characteristics.
• Applies EHDS metadata standards to ensure complete, interoperable catalogue entries.
• Develops minimum metadata requirements and governance controls for cataloging.
• Coordinates with Legal, Data Sharing, and IT to embed sustainable cataloging processes.
• Registers and maintains dataset descriptions in catalogues and verifies accuracy.
