FMA Services seeks multiple E&I Pre-Commissioning Supervisors for a large-scale industrial project in the US. You will manage daily field activities, ensuring safe, traceable, and procedural testing and handover of E&I systems.

Responsibilities include supervising technicians, conducting tests, coordinating with construction teams, monitoring safety procedures, and reporting progress to the Superintendent. Requires 7+ years of E&I commissioning experience and EU work eligibility remains noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/TSO in E&I, electricity or instrumentation.
• Minimum 7 years of E&I/commissioning experience.
• Experience as an E&I Commissioning/Pre-Commissioning Supervisor in industrial projects.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, datasheets, and test procedures.
• Safety-focused with knowledge of LOTO, PTW, and energization.

• Liaise with QA/QC, commissioning engineers, and vendor representatives during inspections and tests.
• Report daily progress, manpower, blockers, and test results to the Superintendent.
• Ensure correct completion records and handover of performed work.

About the Position

For a large-scale industrial project, we are looking for multiple E&I Pre-Commissioning Supervisors.

As an E&I Pre-Commissioning Supervisor, you manage daily field activities for the testing, verification, and release of E&I systems. You work at the interface between construction and commissioning and ensure that activities are carried out safely, traceably, and according to procedure.

Your Responsibilities

• Daily management of technicians and subcontractors for E&I pre-commissioning activities.
• Planning and following up on continuity/insulation tests, point-to-point checks, loop checks, instrument verification, and functional tests.
• Checking system readiness, test packs, check sheets, punch status, and required permits before the start of work.
• Coordinating with construction supervisors for remaining installation issues and punch closure.
• Monitoring LOTO, electrical safety, and energization procedures.
• Liaising with QA/QC, commissioning engineers, and vendor representatives during inspections and tests.

Your Profile

• Experience as an E&I Commissioning/Pre-Commissioning Supervisor in industrial projects.
• Practical knowledge of electrical testing and instrument loop checking.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, cause & effect, datasheets, and test procedures.
• Strong field coordination and experience with technicians/contractors.
• Safety-conscious and familiar with LOTO, PTW, and controlled energization.
• Good knowledge of English; Dutch is an advantage.

Education & experience

Education: Bachelor/Technical Secondary Education (TSO) E&I, electricity, or instrumentation

Experience: Minimum 7 years of E&I/commissioning experience

Certificates & site requirements

• VCA-VOL required or equivalent.
• BA5 strongly desired/required for electrical testing scope.
• ATEX/IEC 60079 knowledge is a significant asset.
