Job summary

Jan De Nul Group seeks a Construction Manager Dredging to drive mobilisations from preparation to execution. You translate tender plans into actionable frameworks, ensuring structure, standardisation, safety and cost efficiency across multiple projects.

With eight+ years on dredging, you coordinate between departments, develop standards, assemble material and equipment lists, and support on-site start-ups while continuously improving our ways of working.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial sciences, engineering, or equivalent.
• Eight years of operational experience on dredging projects.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written). Dutch or additional languages are a plus.
• Solution-minded mindset and strong planning abilities.
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally for handover/start-up on site.

Responsibilities

• Translate tender plans into clear, realistic execution plans using standards and tools.
• Coordinate with departments to align roles, responsibilities and timelines.
• Utilise project management manuals and reflect operational reality in tools.
• Prepare material and equipment lists with attention to detail.
• Assist in mobilisations on site and ensure smooth transition from prep to execution.
• Identify recurring issues and propose improvements across projects.
• Capture best practices and develop standards shared across the team.
• Continuously seek improvements in how we work.
