Our client, a leading organization operating in a large-scale and highly regulated environment, is looking for a Document Management Governance Expert.
The expert will be responsible for setting up and implementing a harmonized Document Management or Knowledge Management System. The role combines hands-on system implementation, governance design, process optimisation, stakeholder coordination and user adoption.
- Set up, implement and harmonize a Document Management System (DMS) or Knowledge Management System.
- Develop the related document and information management governance framework.
- Define and maintain standards and procedures covering metadata, document location, version control, retention and archiving.
- Analyse existing document management practices and design efficient target processes.
- Coordinate with IT and relevant business teams to ensure system compatibility, successful data migration, data integrity, information security and process efficiency.
- Lead digitalisation and continuous-improvement initiatives related to document and knowledge management.
- Train and support users in document management and archiving best practices.
- Promote adoption and ensure the correct use of the implemented solution.
- Monitor compliance with document management policies and intervene when corrective action is required.
- Manage and align technical and business stakeholders throughout the implementation.
You have the following skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Mandatory: concrete, hands‑on experience setting up, implementing or harmonizing a Document Management System or Knowledge Management System.
- Proven experience defining document or knowledge management governance frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of metadata management, document location, version control, retention policies and archiving.
- Experience coordinating system integration, data migration and data‑quality activities.
- Experience with digitalisation initiatives and change management.
- Ability to establish structured document control procedures and processes from scratch.
- Strong organisational, analytical and process‑improvement skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Native French or Dutch, with a good command of the other national language and English.
Fourchette de salaire :
Salary conform to experience.

- You have at least 5 of professional experiences in IT
- If you are at least fluent in FR/ENG/NL it’s best
