Combining hands-on development expertise with strong leadership skills, you'll guide the team in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements while ensuring scalability, security, and long-term maintainability. You'll work closely with project management and fellow developers to translate complex challenges into effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and guide the technical direction, application architecture, and overall system design.
• Collaborate with project management to translate business objectives into robust and scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, security, and maintainability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Coach and mentor developers, facilitate code reviews, and encourage knowledge sharing within the team.
• Establish coding standards and promote software engineering best practices.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of a Python-based web application.
• Analyse and resolve complex technical challenges in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members.
• Support deployment, automation, monitoring, and continuous integration and delivery processes.

Technical Expertise

The ideal candidate combines extensive software development experience with a strong understanding of modern application architecture and technical leadership. Key skills include:

• Python development, with strong hands-on experience in Django.
• Front-end development using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• SQL databases and data-driven application development.
• Data manipulation and processing using pandas.
• API design and integration, including REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.
• Version control and collaborative development using Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
