Job summary

The European Investment Bank (EIB) Group seeks a Head of Regional Development Division to lead, coordinate and supervise the Regional Development Division, assessing multi-sector and multi-scheme investment viability and advising on policy inputs for cohesion, just transition and resilience. The role requires collaboration with EU institutions and external partners, with travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and supervise the Regional Development Division to assess multi-sector / multi-scheme investment viability.
• Provide advisory support and policy inputs to cohesion, just transition, disaster risk management/preparedness, and economic resilience.
• Oversee and ensure quality in techno-economic, environmental, climate and procurement aspects of projects.
• Maintain external contacts with public authorities, EU institutions and other IFIs/MDBs as appropriate.
• Travel and occasional after-hours work may be required to meet business needs.
