The World Customs Organization (WCO) in Brussels, Belgium, seeks a Director of Policy and Standards to lead the PSD and oversee Nomenclature & Revenue and Enforcement, Facilitation & Technology. The role focuses on policy development, standards, and capacity delivery, reporting to the Secretary General.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, budget oversight, staff development, and representing the WCO in high-level fora.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant and professional experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Customs laws, rules and practices.
• Experience in international organizations or with member administrations.

Responsabilités

• Overseeing all activities of the Policy and Standards Directorate;
• Safeguarding the WCO’s credibility, integrity and results;
• Providing leadership and support in policy and standards, capacity development, and coordination with implementation teams.
• Representing the WCO at high-level meetings with Members and stakeholders.
