NATO is expanding its CIS Support Units to provide on-site infrastructure, security, and IT support for remote NATO offices in Kyiv, with Brussels as a secondary location. As a Digital Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, implement, operate and improve server, storage, data-centre and cloud-related infrastructure, while coordinating with CSU Brussels, suppliers and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 2 years of post-related experience, or 6 years of extensive post-related experience.
• At least 2 years designing, implementing and managing technology, software and hardware for servers, storage, data centres or cloud services.
• Experience troubleshooting infrastructure issues and performing regular maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and solution-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in one NATO language; knowledge of another is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Design, install, configure and maintain server, storage, system software and related infrastructure.
• Develop system designs, integration plans and detailed technical specifications.
• Monitor load, performance, availability and security events and take corrective action.
• Provide on-site IT support, network equipment support, logistics and incident escalation for remote offices.
• Apply information-security controls and assist investigations of incidents.
• Coordinate cryptographic activities and manage contracts for remote site.
