Barco Immersive Experiences (IX) is seeking a Digital Hardware Engineer to drive design, implementation and validation of advanced digital hardware for next-generation projection systems. You will own electronics architectures and collaborate with system, FPGA and software teams across Belgium and internationally.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of experience in electronic hardware development.
• Experience with digital hardware and PCB design.
• Experience bringing products from concept to industrialization.
• Experience in multidisciplinary product development teams.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop complex digital circuits and multilayer PCBs.
• Define high-speed interfaces such as DDR, Ethernet, USB, PCIe.
• Perform signal integrity, power integrity and EMC-conscious design activities.
• Select electronic components with consideration for performance, availability, cost and lifecycle.
• Define hardware architectures with system, FPGA and software teams.
• Support FPGA and microcontroller integration within larger electronic systems.
• Perform bring-up, debugging and validation of prototypes and product platforms.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues throughout development and production phases.
• Review designs and provide technical coaching to less experienced engineers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of hardware development methodologies and design practices.
