Base Brussels is seeking a Digital Design Intern to join our team in Brussels. You will explore websites and digital experiences across brand systems, translating visual identities into engaging interactions, and applying UI/UX principles to create clear interfaces.

You’ll prototype in Figma, explore motion and AI-driven possibilities, and contribute to a range of projects with curiosity and a strong design sensibility.

Base Brussels is looking for a Digital Design Intern to join our team. We're looking for someone who gets excited about everything web - from websites and digital experiences to UI, UX, interaction and motion. Someone who thinks about how brands can come to life on screen, from structure and navigation to typography, movement and the smallest interactions. You'll work alongside our designers and motion designers and strategists on a wide range of projects, helping us design websites and digital experiences as part of larger brand identities. Along the way, there will be room to explore UI/UX, motion, prototyping and new possibilities offered by AI. You don't need to know everything yet, curiosity, a strong design sensibility and a willingness to experiment matter just as much.

What you'll do

Who you are

• A design student or recent graduate with a strong interest in web design, UI and UX
• Confident and fluent in Figma
• You have a strong eye for typography, composition and visual identity - not just usability
• You have experience with motion design and tools such as After Effects
• You experiment with AI and are curious about how it can become part of the creative process
• Curious, proactive and excited to learn and contribute

This is a paid, full-time internship based in our Brussels studio. We work together in person, so this is not a remote position.
