CloudSisters in Belgium is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to contribute to a platform for automated managed services and to support client delivery. You will build robust CI/CD pipelines, enhance cloud services, and automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling across AWS and Azure while ensuring security and reliability.

• Experience in Cloud DevOps and CI/CD principles.
• Proficient in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD and Azure DevOps and/or AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy/CodePipeline.
• Python scripting and automation skills.
• Knowledge of Cloud services and containerization with Azure AKS and/or AWS EKS.
• IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Hybrid work setup with an average of two days in the office.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments.

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you’ll take on a dual role: actively contributing to the development of a platform for automated managed services, while continuing to support and deliver those services to our clients.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Masterminding rock-solid Cloud DevOps CI/CD pipelines to turbocharge our deployment lifecycle.


• Enhancing Cloud services and fine-tuning our container services and orchestration for maximum impact.


• Driving efficiency through automation in deployment, monitoring, and scaling within both AWS and Azure.


• Setting up and managing environments for clients, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and security.


• Troubleshooting technical issues to ensure optimal system performance.

Requirements

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent DevOps experience.


• You have previous experience with Cloud DevOps.


• Proficiency in CI/CD principles, with practical experience in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD and Azure DevOps pipelines and/or AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy/CodePipeline.


• Python scripting and automation are your trusty sidekicks.


• You have knowledge of Cloud services and containerization with Azure AKS and/or Amazon EKS


• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


• You’re willing to work in a hybrid setup and be present at the office an average of two days per week.


• You’re proficient in both Dutch and English.
