Jobtailor is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to design and implement CI/CD pipelines, optimize cloud services, and automate deployment and monitoring across AWS and Azure. You will build robust environments for clients, focusing on performance, reliability, and security, while collaborating across teams.

The role requires strong scripting in Python, IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and fluency in Dutch and English. A hybrid work setup with two office days per week is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent DevOps experience required.
• Proven Cloud DevOps experience and strong CI/CD background.
• Hands-on with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD and Azure DevOps or AWS Code services.
• Scripting with Python and automation.
• Knowledge of cloud services and containerization (AKS/EKS).
• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Hybrid work setup with presence in office ~2 days/week.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you’ll take on a dual role: actively contributing to the development of a platform for automated managed services, while continuing to support and deliver those services to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Masterminding rock-solid Cloud DevOps CI/CD pipelines to turbocharge our deployment lifecycle.
• Enhancing Cloud services and fine-tuning our container services and orchestration for maximum impact.
• Driving efficiency through automation in deployment, monitoring, and scaling within both AWS and Azure.
• Setting up and managing environments for clients, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and security.
• Troubleshooting technical issues to ensure optimal system performance.
• Promoting teamwork by integrating DevOps methodologies across all departments.
• Upholding security and compliance standards.
• Staying informed on the latest Cloud and DevOps developments and integrating them into our platform and client solutions.

Requirements

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent DevOps experience.
• You have previous experience with Cloud DevOps.
• Proficiency in CI/CD principles, with practical experience in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD and Azure DevOps pipelines and/or AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy/CodePipeline.
• Python scripting and automation are your trusted sidekicks.
• You have knowledge of Cloud services and containerization with Azure AKS and/or Amazon EKS.
• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• You’re willing to work in a hybrid setup and be present at the office an average of two days per week.
• You’re proficient in both Dutch and English.
• You thrive in fast-paced environments and embrace the chaos.
