Nexeo is seeking a Senior Data Reporting & Visualization Specialist in Brussels to translate raw data into actionable insights for Finance, Risk, CX and Operations. You will design dashboards, prepare data for visualization, and drive end-to-end reporting with governance and security aligned to banking standards.

Working at the intersection of Business, Data and IT, you will lead BI initiatives, mentor Junior Specialists, and collaborate across business stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, update and maintain interactive dashboards and reports.
• Collect, prepare and assemble data required for reporting and visualization.
• Manage the full lifecycle of dashboards and reports, from development to publication and decommissioning.
• Develop automated, scalable and user-friendly reporting solutions.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve existing reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to develop sustainable data structures.
• Support regulatory, strategic, tactical and operational reporting needs.

Nexeo is currently looking for a Senior Data Reporting & Visualization Specialist to join the team of one of our leading banking clients in Brussels.

You will play a key role in transforming raw and complex data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders across areas such as Finance, Risk, Customer Experience and Operations.

Working at the intersection of Business, Data and IT, you will be responsible for understanding reporting needs, designing and developing dashboards, preparing data for visualization and ensuring the full lifecycle of reporting solutions in line with data governance, security and banking standards.

Business Analysis & Reporting Requirements

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and identify reporting and visualization needs.
• Gather, analyze and translate business requirements into prototypes, reports and interactive dashboards.
• Build clear data stories that support data-driven decision-making.
• Advise stakeholders on the most appropriate reporting and visualization solutions.

Data Visualization & Dashboard Development

• Design, develop, update and maintain interactive dashboards and reports.
• Collect, prepare and assemble data required for reporting and visualization.
• Manage the full lifecycle of dashboards and reports, from development and optimization to publication and decommissioning.
• Develop automated, scalable and user-friendly reporting solutions.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve existing reports and dashboards.

Data Preparation & Data Solutions

• Perform light data preparation and transformation activities during prototyping and development.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to develop sustainable and industrialized data structures.
• Contribute to the evolution of data assets supporting regulatory, strategic, tactical and operational reporting.
• Promote data reuse, consistency and the reduction of siloed reporting solutions.

Data Governance & Best Practices

• Ensure reporting and visualization solutions comply with data governance, security and reporting standards.
• Act as an ambassador for data visualization governance and best practices.
• Promote standardized approaches to dashboard and report development.
• Ensure data traceability, consistency and appropriate monitoring.
• Contribute to the implementation and evolution of the organization's data strategy.

Coaching & Knowledge Sharing

• Coach and support Junior Data Visualization Specialists.
• Document reporting solutions, processes and best practices.
• Train users on how to effectively leverage reporting and visualization tools.
• Promote an Agile and data-driven mindset across teams.
• 6+ years of experience in Data Analytics and Data Visualization.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into clear and impactful visualizations.
• Experience working with both business stakeholders and technical data teams.
• Good understanding of data extraction, preparation and transformation.
• Knowledge of Data Warehouses, Data Marts and data assets.
• Understanding of data governance and security requirements.
• Previous experience in Banking, Data Analytics and/or Project Management.
• Experience working in Agile and digital environments.
• Ability to operate in a T-shaped role, combining business, analytical and technical expertise.
