team.blue is seeking a Data Science Lead to head the Data & Analytics team. You will guide a small team while contributing hands-on on complex modeling projects. The role requires aligning data work with business strategy and communicating insights to senior stakeholders.

You will shape the data strategy, oversee predictive modeling and ML initiatives, and collaborate with product, engineering and business leaders to deliver impactful data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, including at least 3 years in a data science lead or similar leadership position.
• Proven leadership experience line-managing and developing data scientists.
• Hands-on credibility: actively building and reviewing production-quality code.
• Stakeholder management: experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of business operations and aligning data projects with objectives.
• Excellent communication skills to translate insights to business recommendations.
• Problem-solving with ability to handle complex/unstructured data.
• Technical skills: Python, R, or Scala; TensorFlow, Scikit-learn; SQL; cloud and big data tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coach a team of two data scientists, setting objectives and fostering growth.
• Stay hands-on in delivery, owning the most complex projects end-to-end.
• Plan backlog and priorities, balancing stakeholder requests.
• Develop data-driven solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Own the data science roadmap with leadership and translate into concrete plans.
• Build, deploy, and maintain machine learning models to forecast trends.
• Analyze large datasets and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advise and improve the data science pipeline to meet analytics needs.
• Collaborate with business leaders, product teams, and engineers.
• Stay updated on data science, AI, and ML trends.
