allnex in Belgium invites motivated students for an Internship Opportunity – Development of a Predictive Model for Solvent Removal at our Drogenbos site. You will contribute to an innovative project, analyzing historical production data to build a model that forecasts the stopping point of solvent removal during the process.

The project aims to debottleneck the facility, shorten batch cycles, and improve data-driven decisions.

Qualificações

Student in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Strong interest in data analysis, statistics, and process optimization.
Knowledge of Excel and Seeq or similar analytical tools is considered an asset.
Analytical mindset and ability to work independently in a production environment.
Good knowledge of Dutch or French. Knowledge of English is an additional advantage.
Available for an internship of at least 180 hours.

Responsabilidades

Collect and analyze historical batch production data.
Identify the key process parameters that influence solvent removal.
Investigate correlations between process parameters and analytical results.
Develop a predictive model to determine the optimal stopping point for the solvent removal process.
Validate the model using historical and/or ongoing production data.
Formulate recommendations for implementation within the production environment.
