Orange Business Services in Brussels seeks a Faction Lead Data Ops Engineering - Consultant to guide a team of 10–15 consultants and drive the data platform strategy across multiple customers. You will partner with sales, delivery, and data teams to shape the Cloud & Data offering and ensure high-quality data solutions.

You bring 5+ years in Data/DevOps/Software engineering, strong SQL/Python, and hands-on Docker/Kubernetes experience, with fluency in French and/or Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Engineering, Physics or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Data/DevOps/Software Engineer.
• Strong SQL and Python knowledge.
• Deployment and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Airflow, etc.
• Data modeling and data-architecture core concepts.

Responsabilités

• Team Leadership: mentor and manage a team of 10–15 consultants and foster team spirit.
• Strategy: define and implement the team strategy with data & cloud leads.
• Culture & Development: promote a positive, innovative culture and support consultant growth.
• Recruitment & Capability Building: recruit resources and align skills with market needs.
• Sales & Business Development: support staffing requests, RFIs/RFPs and propose data solutions.
• Consultant staffing: optimize staffing based on demand and goals.
• Consulting & Delivery: continue hands-on data engineering work on client projects.
