Rhox is seeking a hands-on Data Manager and Engineer to design and implement data management across on-premises systems and an Azure cloud data platform. You will define master data, build secure pipelines, and shape data architectures to enable analytics.

You will collect, model and process data for predictive and prescriptive analytics, and create stakeholder-ready dashboards with SAP BO and Power BI while driving data maturity with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or equivalent from a recognised European institution.
• 10+ years hands-on data management in complex organisations.
• At least 5 years in master data and metadata management, data quality/governance, and data integration/security.
• 5+ years in predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• 10+ years data engineering for structured/unstructured data across on-prem and cloud.
• 5 years in data pipelines; 3 years in on-prem-to-cloud migrations; 5 years in data collection/processing.
• 5 years in data transformation/integration; 3 years Azure cloud experience; 3 years SAP BO/Power BI visualization; 5 years agile.
• Strong communication, listening, collaboration, and results-focus; English (B2) and Dutch/French (B2).

What you'll do:

• Define master data and metadata through glossaries and data dictionaries.
• Build secure pipelines that move structured and unstructured data to Azure.
• Design data architectures and turn decisions into implementation steps.
• Collect, model and process data for predictive and prescriptive analysis.
• Create stakeholder‑ready reports and dashboards with SAP BO and Power BI.
• Work with stakeholders to improve data maturity.

What you bring:

• A computer science degree from a recognised European higher‑education institution.
• 10+ years' hands‑on data management in complex organisations, including 5 years each in master data and metadata management, data quality and governance, and data integration and security.
• 5 years' hands‑on experience in predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• 10+ years' hands‑on data engineering for structured and unstructured data across on‑premises and cloud environments.
• 5 years each in data pipelines, including workflow automation, batch and real‑time processing, and data storage and architecture.
• 3 years in on‑premises‑to‑cloud data migrations; 5 years in data collection and processing.
• 5 years in data transformation and integration; 3 years setting up and using Azure Cloud data platforms.
• 3 years using SAP BO and Power BI for visualisation; 5 years working in agile teams.
• Ability to recommend alternatives to technical and non‑technical audiences, with strong listening, flexibility, communication, collaboration and a results focus.
• Commitment to continuous learning in data management and cloud data engineering.
• English (B2) and Dutch or French (B2).

Nice to have:

• Experience with API design and development, and microservices development and integration.
• Experience with cloud, API, microservice or event‑driven software design and event‑driven architecture and systems.
• Knowledge of Event‑Driven and/or Behavioral‑Driven Development, and Domain‑Driven Design.
• Familiarity with established building blocks and shared services.
