Kohera is looking for a Data Analyst/Engineer to transform business requirements into structured data models in Power BI environments and data warehouses. You will manage ETL/ELT processes and build data integrations using Azure and on‑premise tools, adapting to project-based or long-term assignments.

Fluency in English and Dutch is expected, with French a bonus. The role offers a hybrid work model with learning opportunities and team support from Koherians.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Data Engineer or similar data role.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI
• Experience with Azure Data Lake services
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL and ETL development using Azure components or on-premise tools such as Azure Data Factory or SSIS
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse Analytics is an asset
• Knowledge of Python or Databricks is a plus

Your role as a Data Analyt/Engineer

Within this role, you will also contribute to data modelling activities in Power BI environments or data warehouses, translating business requirements into structured data models and validating them with stakeholders.

Managing and customising the ETL or ELT process (Extract, transform, load)

Setting up and customising data integrations and data modelling (SSIS , SSAS, SSRS)

You will be using Microsoft data services on-premise or in Azure, or a combination of both.

Project-based or long-term assignments, all options are on the table. Depending on the assignment, you may be working on your own or in a team, taking care of the project management yourself or not. Participating in pre‑sales is also a possibility. The trump cards of this job are variety and continuous learning through experience.

The roles within assignments and their complexity will be tailored to you: sufficiently challenging for learning and not over your head. If you demonstrate a keenness to learn, independence and initiative, you will be absolutely fine. Experience and Technical skills
