Projective Group is seeking a Data Governance Specialist to help improve how data is managed across the organisation in Wallonia's public energy network operator IT team. You will develop governance policies, ensure privacy and compliance, and collaborate with Data Owners and Data Stewards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in data governance, data management or data quality.
• Knowledge of data security, privacy and compliance incl. GDPR, ISO 27001.
• Experience with governance or cataloguing tools such as Purview, Collibra or Precisely is an advantage.
• Clear communication, ability to adapt to different audiences and drive adoption of new ways of working.
• Structured, pragmatic and solution-focused with attention to continuous improvement.
• Comfort collaborating across decentralised environments and taking ownership of work.

Responsabilités

• Support the development of data governance policies, standards and procedures.
• Help structure a governance model suited to a decentralised organisation.
• Coordinate with Data Owners and Data Stewards and support role adoption.
• Improve data quality, traceability and transparency across the organisation.
• Maintain the business glossary and contribute to the data catalogue.
• Support governance across the data lifecycle and for Data Products and Data Contracts.
• Collaborate with business, IT, security and privacy teams on compliant data use.
