Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, (Business) Engineering, Sciences, IT, Computer Sciences or Statistics.
• 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field, with at least 1 year coaching junior resources and delivering data projects.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, methodologies, and industry standards (e.g., DAMA, GDPR).
• Proficiency with data cataloging, data quality tools and governance platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and enforce data quality standards and processes across systems and platforms.
• Collaborate to define data governance roles, responsibilities, and promote data stewardship.
• Conduct data governance assessments to identify improvement areas and mitigate risks.
• Oversee data governance tools to support data lineage, metadata management, and data quality monitoring.
• Provide guidance to business units on governance matters.
• Deliver training on data governance concepts and requirements.
• Manage and deliver data quality, governance, and literacy programs and projects.
• Stay updated on trends in data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Grow the Data Management & Strategy practice and coach junior strategists.
