Proximus is seeking a Data Governance professional to support corporate projects and Product Managers in adopting and implementing governance and NFRs across the project lifecycle.

You will organize intake sessions, advise on privacy, retention, data ownership, and AI governance, and produce governance artefacts for Legal, DPO, Security, and Compliance. Fluency in French, Dutch, and English is required for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Approximately five years of relevant Data Governance experience.
• Proven experience supporting governance projects in a corporate environment.

Responsabilités

• Organize and lead intake sessions with project teams and Product Managers to identify applicable Data Governance requirements and data-related NFRs.
• Advise projects and products on governance requirements related to privacy, retention, data classification, data ownership, data quality, data exchange, metadata management, AI Governance, and other applicable governance domains.
• Facilitate workshops to assess governance risks, identify impacted data assets, and determine the required governance activities.
• Guide stakeholders in producing the documentation, evidence, and governance artefacts required by Legal, DPO, Security, Compliance, Data Governance, and other relevant control functions.
• Coordinate follow-up with project teams and Product Managers to ensure that resulting actions and remediation plans are clearly assigned, monitored, and addressed.
• Monitor and report on the implementation of Data Governance requirements and data-related NFRs across supported initiatives, providing visibility on outstanding actions, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Identify recurring governance gaps, bottlenecks, and control weaknesses, and contribute to the continuous improvement of methodologies, standards, templates, controls, and guidance.
• Support the maintenance and evolution of relevant governance assets, workflows, and metadata within Collibra.
• Prepare management reporting, dashboards, and governance insights to support prioritization and decision-making.
• Act as a liaison between project teams, Product Managers, Legal, DPO, Security, Architecture, Compliance, and Data Governance stakeholders.

Job Description

Support corporate projects and Proximus Product Managers in the adoption and implementation of Data Governance requirements and data-related Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), ensuring that governance, compliance, risk, and data management considerations are addressed throughout the project and product lifecycle.

Education and experience

Master's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Approximately five years of relevant experience in Data Governance, Privacy, Information Management, Business Analysis, Architecture, Process Management, Risk Management, or a related domain.

Proven experience supporting projects, products, or transformation initiatives in a corporate environment.

Technical and business skills

Good understanding of Data Governance principles, data-related NFRs, and the data lifecycle.

Practical experience with Collibra; certification is considered a strong asset.

Understanding of privacy, data management, information security, risk, and compliance principles.

Ability to translate governance requirements into pragmatic and actionable guidance for project and product teams.

Experience with governance reporting, documentation, action tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
