Orange Business is seeking a Data & AI Governance Consultant to lead governance projects across assessments to full implementation in a hybrid Brussels setting. You will define operating models for data, analytics, AI and GenAI, and help clients establish quality, metadata and lifecycle frameworks.

The role emphasizes senior-level advisory capabilities, collaboration with business and tech teams, and mentoring junior consultants while contributing to thought leadership within Orange Business.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, AI Governance or related consulting roles.
• Design and execute Data Governance projects of varying complexity.
• Experience in Metadata projects using Collibra, Purview/Azure Data Catalog, Alation, Talend and Informatica.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Self-Service Analytics and modern Data Platforms.
• Understanding of Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Lineage and Master Data Management concepts.
• Extensive knowledge of the DMBOK.
• Knowledge of AI Governance, AI risk management, model monitoring and AI compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of one or more project methodologies, such as Scrum.

Responsabilités

• Define and deploy governance operating models covering Data, Analytics, AI and Generative AI initiatives.
• Support clients in establishing governance frameworks for Data Quality, Metadata Management, Master Data Management and AI lifecycle management.
• Conduct Data and AI Governance maturity assessments.
• Define target operating models, governance organizations, policies, standards and controls.
• Build implementation roadmaps aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Establish stewardship models, governance councils, and accountability frameworks.
• Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder interviews to identify governance needs and opportunities.
• Translate business, regulatory and technical requirements into actionable governance solutions.
• Drive stakeholder alignment across business and technology teams.
• Implement and configure Data Governance, Data Catalog and AI Governance platforms.
• Support metadata management, data lineage, data quality monitoring and policy enforcement initiatives.
• Contribute to the governance of AI assets, models, datasets and AI use cases.
• Act as a trusted advisor for Data & AI Governance topics.
• Identify opportunities to expand Data, AI and Governance engagements with existing and new clients.
• Coach and mentor junior consultants and contribute to Orange Business thought leadership.

Data & AI Governance Consulting

Your technical expertise:

• A master’s or bachelor’s degree in IT, a related technical field.
• 4+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, AI Governance or related consulting roles.
• A proven ability to design and execute Data Governance projects of varying complexity.
• Experience in Metadata projects using for example, Collibra, Purview/Azure Data Catalog, Alation, Talend and Informatica.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Self-Service Analytics and modern Data Platforms.
• Understanding of Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Lineage and Master Data Management concepts.
• Extensive knowledge of the DMBOK

It is not a requirement, but other preferred qualifications would be:

• DAMA CDMP certification.
• Collibra Ranger, Expert or Professional certification.
• Microsoft Purview certification.
• AI Governance, Responsible AI or AI Risk Management certifications.
• Experience with GenAI governance, prompt governance, AI use case inventories and model registries.
• Experience in regulated sectors (Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Public Sector).
