BearingPoint is seeking a Data Governance Expert to help clients develop a data-driven culture and deliver business value from data throughout its life cycle.

You will provide processes, methods, and tools to manage data assets, embed our operating models, and drive data governance transformation projects for real impact. Fluent in English and French or Dutch, you will partner with stakeholders across functions and industries.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and French or/and Dutch
• Experience in defining and implementing data management frameworks
• Knowledge and practical expertise in data governance architecture definition and implementation
• Experience with business process design & modelling
• Experience with metadata integration, data quality, data profiling and metadata management
• Experience of data models, data structure, data work flows
• Understanding of data strategy challenges
• Understanding of Business Intelligence and Data warehousing concepts
• Interest in Next Gen Data Management
• Understanding of GDPR relation and impact on data management
• Strong presentation and communication skills towards (non)technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills & rational thinking
• A team player that is customer-success-oriented

Main responsibilities:

As a Data Governance Expert, you will engage with our clients to develop a data-driven culture and will enable them to deliver business value based on data. You will provide them processes, methods, and tools to manage their data assets as best. You will make sure to embed our best-in-class operating models and to adapt them to support the data governance transformation projects that deliver true business value.

Ideal profile:

• Fluent in English and French or/and DutchExperience in defining and implementing data management frameworks
• Knowledge and practical expertise in data governance architecture definition and implement
• ationExperience with business process design & modelling
• Experience with metadata integration, data quality, data profiling and metadata management
• Experience of data models, data structure, data work flows
• Practical expertise in at least one of the following tools (Collibra, Informatica, Data Galaxy, Magnitude, Talend, Alation, IBM Watson Knowledge Catalog or related)
• Understanding of data strategy challenges
• Understanding of Business Intelligence and Data warehousing concepts
• Interest in Next Gen Data Management
• Understanding of GDPR relation and impact on data management
• Strong presentation and communication skills towards (non)technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills & rational thinking
• A team player that is customer-success-oriented
