Job summary

Adjugo is recruiting on behalf of INAMI-RIZIV Data Office in Brussels for a senior Data Governance Specialist. The role focuses on implementing governance across services, defining data steward/owner roles, and building a data glossary and catalog.

The expert will mentor stewards, ensure metadata quality, and coordinate data quality initiatives within a Belgian, multilingual context. The assignment runs from mid-November to end-December 2026 in Brussels with at least two days per week in the

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent
• 10+ years data experience
• 10+ years organisational governance
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Data quality tooling knowledge
• GDPR regulatory knowledge
• Autonomous working ability

Responsibilities

• Implement data governance across INAMI services according to the Data Governance Manager's priorities.
• Define steward and owner roles and responsibilities.
• Coach data stewards and data owners.
• Animate the data steward community through meetings, action follow-up and good-practice sharing.
• Coordinate data catalogue population and business glossary maintenance.
• Ensure metadata quality, consistency and completeness using defined standards.
• Initiate and coordinate data steward work in data quality improvement projects, including rule definition, prioritisation, reporting and follow-up.
