Lighthouse Io in Belgium is seeking an experienced Data Engineering Manager to lead a team that owns end-to-end data domains within a large-scale ingestion and transformation engine. You will unify global hospitality data into a semantic layer and build complex data pipelines for real-time and batch processing, driving insights for hotels worldwide.

The role combines hands-on data engineering with people management, architectural oversight, and AI-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Experienced people leader with track record of managing engineering teams.
• Hands-on background in data engineering, ETL/ELT, batch and streaming pipelines.
• Strong data modelling and architecture capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers for end-to-end data domains.
• Drive architecture, design and scaling of streaming and batch pipelines ingesting large data volumes.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, support and business teams to deliver data products.
• Champion AI-first development and integrate AI into data platforms and tooling.
• Plan, estimate and deliver continuous improvements in data quality, reliability and observability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align data platforms with business goals.
