Lighthouse seeks a Senior Analytics Engineer in Belgium (Ghent) to build reliable data products for enterprise customers. You will focus on SQL, dbt, data modeling, data-product development, and AI integration rather than traditional dashboards.

You will own projects from stakeholder questions through analysis, modeling, QA, and delivery, strengthening dbt practices and contributing to scalable data delivery while taking direct customer-facing responsibilities with support.

Qualifications

• Expert-level SQL and hands-on, production-level dbt experience.
• Track record of owning reliable data models or products in production.
• Strong data-warehouse fluency with BigQuery or equivalent platform.
• Experience using Python for data analysis or product development, including testing, documentation, data quality, governance, and correctness.

Responsabilités

• Design production data models and products using SQL, dbt, Python, and BigQuery.
• Translate business questions into scalable solutions, overseeing end-to-end delivery.
• Diagnose and improve data quality, query performance, and cost across large datasets.
• Partner with Product, Data Science, Engineering, Commercial, and Account Management to define requirements and timelines.
• Use AI to accelerate development, analysis, scoping, and documentation, and explore AI-powered capabilities.
• Share dbt expertise and join on-call rotation for enterprise data products.
