Job summary

DESOTEC is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain our data ecosystem across international markets. You will develop scalable data solutions, ensure reliable data availability, and transform data into actionable insights.

The role reports to the Data Lead and collaborates with BI developers, stakeholders, and IT teams. Key focus areas include shaping a scalable Power BI platform, data modeling, and data quality across the architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in data/IT/engineering or related field.
• Strong SQL and data platform experience.
• Hands-on with Azure Data Platform technologies, Data Lakes, ETL/ELT and data modeling.
• Fluent English; Dutch would be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable data solutions and maintain data availability.
• Design and maintain robust data models for BI and analytics.
• Monitor and improve data quality and performance across the data platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and IT to deliver reliable reporting environments.
