Moro Technology Corporation is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines on modern cloud platforms. You will work with Databricks, Azure, and Delta Lake to deliver data products and reusable services that align with enterprise standards.

The role requires strong Python, Spark, SQL skills and experience with APIs, event-driven architectures, and governance. Join a global team and help power analytics and AI-driven use cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience with Databricks and modern cloud data platforms.
• Understanding of Data Architecture principles and enterprise data ecosystems.
• Expertise in Python, Spark, SQL, Delta Lake, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Experience developing data pipelines on Azure-based platforms.
• Experience working with APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed data systems.
• Understanding of data modelling principles and data design best practices.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, security, and access control.
• Experience supporting logistics, warehouse management, inventory, transport, planning, or supply chain processes.
• Familiarity with AI tools and AI-assisted software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, Python, SQL, and Delta Lake.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT frameworks for analytical and operational workloads.
• Implement data products and reusable data services aligned with enterprise standards.
• Develop integrations using APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native tech.
• Support development of data models and governance requirements.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of data processing solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, modellers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver value.
• Support analytics, reporting, operational systems, and AI-driven use cases.
• Contribute to DevOps, automation, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development.
