Job summary

LACO is seeking a Medior Databricks Data Engineer who loves turning raw data into scalable, high-performing solutions. You will design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks, Spark, and Azure, delivering cloud-native data platforms that drive real business value.

You will collaborate with data professionals and stakeholders, own key technical decisions, and grow through continuous learning in a hybrid role with generous leave and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Databricks, Spark, SQL, and Python.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data modelling, cloud platforms, and CI/CD.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French, plus English.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize data solutions using Azure Databricks, Spark, and Azure.
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data.
• Improve platform performance, reliability, CI/CD processes, and cloud architecture.
