EY Belgium is expanding its data team to deliver robust data pipelines and cloud-based analytics. The Data Engineer will design, build, and operate end-to-end data solutions that enable clients to leverage data for strategic insights.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, migration to cloud platforms, and ongoing optimization of data workflows. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud technologies is essential, with Dutch or French plus English communications valued.

Formación

• Master’s degree and 2+ years in data engineering.
• Proficient in Python and scripting for data pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills; familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Azure and Databricks cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
• Fluent English; Dutch or French is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines using modern tools.
• Lead data migration projects to cloud platforms while ensuring data integrity.
• Set up and manage cloud-based data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data needs into technical solutions.
• Implement DataOps practices for CI/CD of data solutions.
• Stay updated with new data technologies and frameworks.
• Monitor and optimize pipelines for performance and cost.
• Document data workflows and governance standards.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support BI initiatives.
