Google Inc. is seeking an Engineer to monitor, maintain, and deploy the physical infrastructure behind our data centers. You will install servers, switches, and cabling, diagnose hardware failures, and lead parts of facility upgrades and new equipment rollouts.

The role requires lifting up to 23kg, working non-standard hours, and collaborating with a global team. Belgium-based position with global data center responsibilities and 24/7 availability.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer hardware and server hardware.
• Experience with networking protocols.
• Ability to lift/move up to 23kg of equipment and physical exertion over extended periods.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends and night shifts.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, maintain, and deploy physical infrastructure behind Google's data center servers and network infrastructure.
• Install and maintain switches, routers, and other networking gear; diagnose and repair hardware issues.
• Support and lead projects during facility upgrades and new equipment rollouts.
• Be on-call for sites and participate in 24/7 shift coverage if needed.
