Google is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer III in Farciennes, Belgium. The role focuses on installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting and maintaining hardware and server software, including networks and data center components.

You'll participate in or lead small project teams, manage deployment tasks, and collaborate with multiple teams across Google's AI and Infrastructure initiatives. Belgian compensation includes a base salary and bonus target, plus equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with computer hardware and server hardware or troubleshooting/diagnosing.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and networking protocols.
• Experience in project management and leadership, and collaborating and partnering with teams.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to and lead efforts/projects in the deployment, maintenance, and support of Google Cloud region (e.g., cloud data center) infrastructure.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolve escalated technical issues regarding affected equipment.
• Help test and troubleshoot new server hardware components and designs. Configure and troubleshoot Operating System (OS) related issues on the server.
• Resolve technical issues (e.g., hardware, software, application, operational, process) using different tools until final resolution, communicating with different stakeholders.
• Work non-standard hours, including working weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.
