Job summary

Talencia is seeking a Data Business Analyst in Brussels to bridge business needs with Data Engineering, supporting migration from SAP-based landscape to a cloud data platform.

You will gather requirements, design data mappings and models, conduct SQL analysis and data quality checks, and contribute to data governance in a large enterprise environment.

Strong background in SAP BW, SQL, and data warehousing is essential; experience with Google BigQuery and GCP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Assemble and document data requirements, translating business needs into technical specs.
• Experience with SAP BW and data extraction processes is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL and dimensional modeling is required.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into data specifications.
• Design data mappings, transformations, and KPI definitions; contribute to data models.
• Perform SQL analysis, data profiling, and data quality assessments; create BRDs and FS.
• Lead root cause analyses for data discrepancies and support testing/UAT activities.
