Infogene is seeking a senior Data Architect in Belgium to design scalable and secure data architectures that support analytics, BI, AI and decision-making. You will lead modern data platforms across cloud and hybrid environments and align with stakeholders across Energy, Life Sciences and Industrial sectors.

The role involves collaboration with data engineers, analysts and solution architects to ensure architectural consistency and data governance.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering or a related field.
Between 5 and 10 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering or enterprise data projects.
Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms.
Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, data governance and integration patterns.
Ability to communicate complex technical topics to both technical and business stakeholders.
Comfortable working in collaborative and Agile environments.
Professional proficiency in English; French and/or Dutch is highly appreciated.
Experience in Energy, Utilities, Life Sciences or Industrial environments is a strong asset.

Responsabilités

Design scalable, secure and future-proof data architectures including enterprise data models, integration patterns and governance principles.
Lead the design and implementation of modern data platforms across cloud and hybrid environments, including Data Warehousing and Lakehouse solutions.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Solution Architects, Project Managers and Business Stakeholders to ensure architectural consistency across projects.
Establish standards and best practices for data management, data quality, security and governance.
Optimize data flows, storage solutions and platform performance.
Contribute to technology roadmaps and strategic decisions related to data architecture and digital transformation.
