Infogene Belgium (Vulcain Engineering Group) is seeking a Data & AI Engineer to design, build and optimize data platforms and pipelines for analytics, reporting and advanced decision-making. You will support digital transformation across energy, life sciences and industrial sectors, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams and business stakeholders.

The role emphasizes robust data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling and governance, with a focus on cloud platforms and data solutions

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, data engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years hands-on data engineering experience.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to integrate data from multiple sources.
• Contribute to modern data platforms in cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Ensure data quality, reliability, security and governance across the data ecosystem.
• Develop data models to support reporting, analytics and ML use cases.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Solution Architects, Project Managers and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
• Monitor, optimize and continuously improve data solutions and platform performance.
• Contribute to data engineering best practices, including architecture, code quality and documentation.
