Job summary

Université de Namur invites applications for a full-time Academic position in Data Analytics. Located in Namur, you will contribute to research in information management and digital transformation while teaching across bachelor, master and professional programmes.

The role spans research, teaching and service to the university community within UNSM and EMCP. You will join the EMCP Faculty, participate in NaDI institutes, and collaborate with industry partners to advance data analytics,

Qualifications

Hold a doctorate in management sciences, economics, sciences, or equivalent.
Publish high-impact scientific research in top international journals in the fields of information management, information systems or digital transformation.
Interact methodologically and interdisciplinary with EMCP Faculty research fields.
Provide excellent teaching to a university audience.
Integrate research results into teaching.
Lead and direct a research team.
Have good command of French or commit to learning within a year (B2).
Have good command of spoken and written English and be able to teach in that language.

Responsibilities

Deliver teaching across the various study cycles (1st, 2nd and 3rd cycle).
Supervise master theses and doctoral dissertations.
Participate in, lead and/or supervise research programmes within the MINDIT centre – Management of Information & Digital Transformation, a component of NaDI.
Participate in the activities of the Transitions research institute (Democratic Transformations axis).
Publish in high-impact journals, secure external research funding and expand the university's network.
