Université de Namur, located in Namur, Belgium, invites applications for a research/teaching position in management sciences with a quantitative data-analytics orientation. The role spans research, teaching and service, with collaboration across the EMCP Faculty and NaDI.

The selected candidate will contribute to master and doctoral programmes, lead research in Information Management and Digital Transformation, and publish in top journals while guiding a research team.

Qualifications

• Hold a doctorate in management sciences, economics, sciences, or equivalent (or obtain it before taking up the position).
• Be able to publish high-impact scientific research in top international journals in the field of information management, information systems or digital transformation.
• Demonstrate the ability to interact methodologically and in an interdisciplinary manner with the EMCP Faculty fields.
• Be able to provide excellent teaching to a university audience.
• Be able to integrate research results into teaching; lead and direct a research team.
• Have the ability to work in a team and to lead and direct a research team.
• Have a good command of French or commit to learning it within the year following appointment (B2).
• Have a good command of spoken and written English and be able to teach in that language.

Responsabilités

• Deliver teaching across the various study cycles (1st, 2nd and 3rd cycle).
• Supervise master theses and doctoral dissertations.
• Participate in, lead and/or supervise research programmes within MINDIT and NaDI.
• Participate in the activities of the Transitions research institute.
• Contribute to the international visibility of the university by publishing in high-impact journals and securing external funding.
• Carry out service activities within UNSM and BAGI and the EMCP Faculty.
