DynaFin is seeking a Data Analyst to support data-driven initiatives in a banking environment. You will work with stakeholders, architects and delivery teams to translate complex requirements into reliable data solutions.

Responsibilities include modelling data with 3NF and Kimball, designing and validating ETL processes, and maintaining documentation. You will contribute to agile ceremonies and ensure governance and security standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of data analyst experience in a complex environment.
• Strong SQL and ETL tool experience; knowledge of data modelling (3NF, Kimball).

We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong expertise in data warehousing and modelling to support data-driven initiatives within a banking environment. The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, architects and delivery teams to translate complex business needs into reliable and scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and challenge business requirements and translate them into structured functional and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure alignment with existing data architecture.
• Model and document data structures using 3NF and dimensional modelling (Kimball methodology).
• Support the design, validation, and optimisation of ETL processes.
• Conduct impact analysis and formulate clear solution proposals.
• Maintain consistent and structured documentation of requirements, models and solutions.
• Support testing and validation activities, including defect analysis and UAT follow-up.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, peer reviews and team improvement efforts.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Identify data-related risks and ensure compliance with internal governance and security standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Economics).
• Minimum three years of experience as a data analyst, business analyst or functional analyst in a complex environment.
• Deep knowledge of data modelling techniques: 3NF, Kimball/star schema (facts/dimensions).
• Strong SQL skills and solid experience with ETL tools.
• Experience with Oracle and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of Data Vault modelling is a plus.
• Able to work independently and provide structured input to project teams.
• Precise, analytical and solution-focused approach.
