Darwind in Brussels is seeking a Data Analyst who can turn raw numbers from IT systems into actionable insights for stakeholders across the organisation. You'll build dashboards, write SQL, and collaborate with data engineers to improve reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a master's degree in data science or a related field, has 4+ years of IT analytics experience, and is fluent in Dutch (French a plus) with proficiency in Power BI, Tableau or Qlik.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in data science, IT, statistics, business engineering or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst in an IT environment.
• Proficient in SQL and comfortable working with large, complex data sets.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik.
• Knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
• Fluency in Dutch; French is a plus.

• Collect, clean and structure data from IT systems, applications and databases
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik
• Analyse IT service usage, system performance and cost data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Write and optimise SQL queries to extract and combine data from multiple sources
• Translate business questions into data driven answers for IT and business stakeholders
• Support the development of ETL processes and data pipelines together with data engineering colleagues
• Validate data quality and flag inconsistencies before they reach decision makers
• Present findings and recommendations in a clear, actionable way to both technical and non technical audiences
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting standards and data governance practices
