Job summary

KPMG Belgium invites experienced cybersecurity professionals to join our team to shape enterprise security programs and drive risk-based decisions. You will collaborate with executives and technical teams to design strategies, improve incident response, and advance privacy and business continuity.

Fluency in English and Dutch or French is required, with a Master’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 3+ years in cybersecurity or information risk management.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF/800-53, CIS or the Cybersecurity Maturity Model.
• Experience developing policies, procedures and controls.
• Fluency in English and Dutch or French.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA, GIAC or GSEC are a plus; ISO Lead Auditor preferred.
• Strong communication, facilitation, leadership and presentation skills.
• Confidence working with AI tools, and applying AI in daily tasks and team collaboration.

• Collaborate with senior management to design cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps and sustainable solutions (covering processes, tooling and people models).
• Act as a bridge between executives and technical teams, helping drive change in areas such as data protection, security operations, privacy and business continuity.
• Translate technical vulnerabilities into clear business risks and present concise, accessible findings.

• Review and strengthen incident response capabilities, facilitate exercises and guide remediation plans.

What do you need:

• A Master’s degree and at least 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information risk management.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF/800‑53, CIS or the Cybersecurity Maturity Model.
• Experience developing policies, procedures and controls.
• An open, honest mindset and eagerness to learn from both successes and challenges.
• Fluency in English and Dutch or French.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA, GIAC or GSEC are a plus; ISO Lead Auditor is preferred.
