Arcadis, a leading global design, engineering and consultancy firm, seeks a Cost Manager in Belgium to drive cost modelling from feasibility through detailed design and to oversee measurement conformity and tender processes.

You will produce financial analyses, advise on contractual conditions, and collaborate with program teams for financial follow-up, contingency budgeting and robust data management.

Qualifications

• Education in Industrial or Civil engineering, Construction or Architecture.
• A professional qualification and/or membership in RICS or other relevant training is a plus.
• Proven experience as a cost manager.
• Extensive knowledge of various contract types.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders at senior management level.
• Enthusiastic team player with focus on optimization and detail.
• Computer-literate with a digital approach to data management.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

• Draw up and verify cost models from feasibility studies to detailed designs.
• Verify measurement records for conformity with measurement methods and contractual clauses; supervise tendering and quotation presentations.
• Create financial analyses from quotations and draw up tender reports.
• Work closely with Program and Project Managers for financial follow-up and provide advice according to contractual conditions.
• Take care of financial reporting and keep dashboards up to date; advise on contingency budget.
• Check receivables according to actual execution and prepare payment certificates.
• Jointly responsible for data and information management regarding investment and maintenance costs.
