TL-Hub in Belgium seeks a proactive Control Tower specialist to oversee end-to-end export shipments for a key customer. You will coordinate bookings with carriers, manage shipments in the TMS, and collaborate with customs to ensure timely documentation.

A IMDG and/or Codex certificate is strongly preferred; fluent English is essential and Dutch is not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or several years of Freight Forwarding experience.
• Fluent English; Dutch not required.
• Able to quickly adapt to new software and digital systems.
• IMDG and/or Codex certificate are strong assets.

Responsabilités

• Act as main contact for a dedicated customer, handling sea freight export shipments.
• Create and manage shipments in the transport management system (TMS).
• Coordinate bookings with carriers, shipping lines and logistics partners.
• Collaborate with in-house customs to prepare documentation on time.
• Build relationships across the international logistics network and assist with shipment notifications and quotations.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and maintain high-quality data per company procedures.
• Apply compliance and security regulations including hazardous goods and carrier guidelines.

Job Description

For an international logistics company, we are looking for a new colleague to strengthen the Control Tower team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of export shipments for a key customer, ensuring every shipment is handled accurately and efficiently.

Your responsibilities include:

• Acting as the main point of contact for a dedicated customer, providing outstanding service for sea freight export shipments
• Creating and managing shipments in the transport management system
• Coordinating bookings with carriers, shipping lines and other logistics partners
• Working closely with the in-house customs team to ensure timely preparation of all customs documentation
• Building strong relationships within the international logistics network and supporting shipment notifications and quotations
• Ensuring accurate invoicing and maintaining high-quality data in line with company procedures
• Applying compliance and security regulations, including hazardous goods requirementsembargo restrictions and carrier-specific guidelines

Who are we looking for?

• You hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Logistics or have several years of experience in Freight Forwarding
• You communicate fluently in English; Dutch is not essential
• You quickly adapt to new software and digital systems
• An IMDG and/or Codex certificate is considered a strong asset
• You are accurate, take ownership of your work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• You are a proactive team player with a solution-oriented mindset
