Crane Worldwide Logistics in Antwerp is seeking an Ocean Export Specialist to coordinate, route, rate, and monitor international shipments from pick-up through delivery.

You will work closely with clients, customs and agents, prepare export documents, track cargo, ensure accurate invoicing, and communicate status across the network to deliver reliable service. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in Ocean freight export.
• Fluent Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Deals directly with clients, customs and agents to ensure fastest movement of cargo.
• Prepares documents for export and customs clearance.
• Track and trace cargo to ensure proper movement and delivery.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and cost information in the TMS.
• Communicate with customers regarding freight status and quotations.
• Coordinate with other branches and agents to maintain service quality.
• Seek the most profitable shipment modes while meeting customer requirements.
• Adhere to daily KPI targets.

Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client's logistics challenges.

The Ocean Export Specialist will be responsible for the coordination, routing, rating, monitoring of international shipments (ocean export) from pick-up through to delivery.

This role will be based in Antwerp.

Essential Job Functions:

• Deals directly with clients, customs and agents to ensure the quickest and best movement of cargo throughout the world.


• Prepares documents necessary to complete export, and customs clearance process.


• Track and trace cargo as necessary to insure proper movement and delivery.


• Proper and correct billing and cost information populated in the global transport management system for accurate invoicing and job costing.


• Communicate with customers regarding disposition of Freight (i.e., tracking & tracing, routing & dispatching, and rate quotations).


• Communicate & correspond with other Company branches and agents for customer satisfaction and ensure excellent service execution.


• Seek the most profitable mode of shipment yet meet customer’s requirement for the movement of freight.


• Daily KPI adherence.

Physical Requirements

• Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment.


• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.


• Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.

Experience Required:

• 3 years experience in Ocean freight export


• Confident in closing, innovative, energetic, motivated and flexible.


• Strong communication and customer service skills.


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Fluent level of Dutch and English, both written and spoken


• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
