DSV is seeking a Terminal Manager for its Puurs crossdock and road operations. You will oversee a 24/7 terminal environment, driving efficiency, structure and continuous improvement while managing P&L and a high-volume operation with multiple loading docks.

You will lead supervisors and teams, ensure safe, customer-focused activities, and coordinate with stakeholders to uphold company standards and drive transformation. This role demands strong leadership and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Terminal Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of crossdock operations and high-volume hubs.
• Experience leading large operational teams across multiple levels.
• Track record in change management and operational transformation.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.

As Terminal Manager, you are responsible for the overall operational, financial, and people management of one of DSV's largest Road crossdock operations in Belgium. You ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a 24/7 terminal environment, while driving structure, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Based in Puurs, you lead a complex and high-volume operation consisting of a crossdock and export terminal with 101 loading docks and a surface area of 15,100 m². Every day, dozens of terminal vehicles, CODI trucks, and inbound and outbound shipments pass through the terminal, making this a key hub within DSV's Road network.

Tasks

• Full responsibility for the terminal's operational and financial performance (P&L);
• and developing supervisors and team leaders across a 24/7 operation;
• Ensuring efficient, safe, and customer-focused crossdock and export activities;
• Driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and the SEAL transition;
• Managing key stakeholder relationships and ensuring compliance with company standards;
• Acting as the overall operational leader of one of DSV's key Road terminals.

You bring

• Proven experience as a Terminal Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role within a logistics, transport, or crossdock environment;
• Strong knowledge of crossdock operations and high-volume transport hubs;
• Experience managing large operational teams through multiple management layers;
• A track record in change management and operational transformation projects;
• Fluency in both Dutch and English
