Walls Construction is seeking a Contracts Manager in Belgium to lead contract administration and commercial management across projects, ensuring compliance, risk control and timely delivery of obligations.

You will act as the primary contact for interpretation, claims, variations and procurement strategy, coordinating with project teams, clients and the commercial function to protect Walls' position throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in contract management within construction.
• Knowledge of standard forms (JCT/NEC) and change control.
• Strong commercial acumen with claims, variations and notices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised and methodical with contract registers and DMS.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook; experience with contract systems.

Responsabilités

• Manage the full contract administration process for projects.
• Provide commercial and contractual advice on scope, risks and change control.
• Prepare and maintain contract notices, claims and variations.
• Assess variations and claims; support negotiations with stakeholders.
• Administer subcontracts; monitor milestones and payments.
• Maintain contract registers and risk logs in the DMS.
• Support procurement through contract documentation and evaluations.
• Lead dispute avoidance and coordinate with legal where needed.
• Provide training on contract processes to project teams.
• Prepare commercial reports and KPI updates for management.
• Attend meetings and communicate contractual matters to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and data security procedures.
