Job summary

Jobat is seeking a commercial project claims specialist for a leading engineering and industrial services client in Belgium. The role focuses on reviewing installation works, validating alignment with contracts, and managing invoicing and payment claims.

You will coordinate with project, engineering and site teams to verify deliverables and lead negotiations to secure payment while maintaining positive client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate completed installation works against contractual agreements, work orders, change requests, and invoices.
• Analyze and resolve disputes related to executed works, invoicing, and payment claims with the end client.
• Gather, structure, and maintain technical, contractual, financial, and administrative documentation to substantiate claims.
• Coordinate closely with project, engineering, and site teams to verify completed scopes of work and contractual deliverables.
• Lead commercial negotiations to secure payment of outstanding invoices while preserving a constructive client relationship.
